For the third year in a row, Bay View High School students have taken first-place prizes in the MPS Media Arts Showcase. Seniors Rashida Begum and Taslimah Mahmud Yunus won the People’s Choice award for their infographic “Ambition.” Seniors Mustakim Yusuf and Siham Bashir (who has since transferred to Pulaski) took the Critics’ Choice award for their infographic “Fragments of Fate: Rebuilding the Future from a Broken History.” If you see them, congratulate them!
