The season didn’t just change the record books—it changed the mindset of everyone in a Bay View uniform.
For Isaiah Wade, the 2025–2026 season was more than wins and losses. It was growth, resilience, and learning what it truly meant to show up—every single day.
Bay View finished 19–5, undefeated in conference, and crowned champions. But behind that success were moments that didn’t always show on the scoreboard.
Wade described the feeling of being locked in during the biggest moments:
“When in the zone, all outside noise is ignored, focusing strictly on the task at hand. There's no thinking or guessing, just doing. The feeling is like no other—confidence is through the roof, execution is flawless, and your mind is in a calm, focused flow.”
That mindset helped fuel what he called the program’s best season in the last three years.
“The 2025–2026 season was the best in the last three years,” Wade reflected. “Personally, I had good games and not so good games. Either way, I was a factor and important.”
And that was the identity of this team—everyone mattered.
Through challenges on and off the court, Bay View never lost sight of the goal.
“I think it’s important to know that no matter what, it’s important to show up every day. This season proves that like no other. Complications with team, grades, and other business didn’t stop us from trying to get what we wanted.”
What they wanted, they got.
“We knew what we should’ve achieved last year, so we got it this year—conference champions.”
But for Wade, the journey was personal, too.
“My journey was rough this season due to family and other issues. It was hard to stay committed, but I couldn’t let my team down.”
That commitment became his biggest takeaway—and his motivation moving forward.
“I learned that I needed to work even harder and give it my all this offseason to have an even better season next year.”
For Bay View, it was a championship season.
For Isaiah Wade, it was something deeper—a season that proved perseverance, accountability, and belief can carry you through anything.
